Shuttle and Private Transfers
We are the only company in Alice Springs who provides a 'full meet and greet shuttle and private transfer service.' We operate 365 days per year providing a personalized service, meeting and greeting every flight and train in and out of Alice Springs with a door to door service direct to and from passengers accommodation for pre booked clients. Hotels are approximately 30 minutes from the airport.
Transfers are available in any size vehicle from the fleet on a private basis or alternatively seat in coach for the budget conscious traveller requiring that special level of service.
When Arriving in Alice Springs
Passengers are personally met by a Tailormade Tours representative inside the Alice Springs Airport terminal at the luggage carousel or alternatively at the Alice Springs Railway Station on the platform. The friendly driver is easily identified as he will be holding up a 'special welcome sign,' with passengers name on it. Trolley and luggage assistance is provided prior to escorting passengers to their vehicle and provide informative commentary en route to their accommodation house. Welcome books are provided to passengers incorporating maps, restaurants and attractions around Alice Springs and Central Australia.
Drivers are only too happy to reconfirm pick up times regarding further touring / transport services carried out by Tailormade Tours. We have an airport and railway desk and private parking bays for passenger convenience. With late flight/train arrivals we are able to connect passengers up to tours operated by Tailormade Tours and check luggage into passengers accommodation at no additional charge so it is waiting for them on check in.
When Departing Alice Springs
The day before departing Alice Springs we ask that passengers kindly call our local office on free call 1800 806 641. Alternatively, the accommodation house may do this on behalf of passengers. Our office will reconfirm the pick up time that a driver will collect them on the day of departure. We ask that passengers be waiting in the reception area or outside of their accommodation house 10 minutes prior to the advised pick up time.
Wheelchairs can certainly be catered for, however, due to health and safety reasons, we are unable to carry electric non-collapsible wheelchairs as we do not have electric ramps fitted to our vehicles. Please note that we require prior notification if passengers are travelling with a collapsible wheelchair to ensure sufficient luggage capacity is provided and to facilitate a smooth transition for passengers.
