Discover The Heart Of Central Australia
Extended touring itineraries may commence at either Alice Springs or Uluru (Ayers Rock) and may include all entrance fees and lunches if required. All touring includes your driver / guide who provides informative commentary and accompanies passengers on all walks and activities.
Tailormade Tours will arrange and quote on any extended touring itinerary. We can organinse picnics, BBQ's, sight seeing, camel rides and 4WD for the sights of the off the beaten track.
Tours may be two, three, or more days throughout the Northern Territory. An example itinerary is set out below.
Day 1: Depart Alice Springs for Watarrka (Kings Canyon), travelling either the Stuart Highway or the Mereenie Loop Road. Arriving at Wattarka mid afternoon.
Day 2: Walk the magnificent Canyon this morning before travelling throught the heart of Central Australia to the Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park - A World Heritage Area. The afternoon will bring the wonders of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) to light. Finish the day with a glass of champagne at Uluru (Ayers Rock) while watching the sunset.
Day 3: Optional sunrise then full base tour around Uluru and visit to the Culture Centre. Tour may terminate at Ayers Rock Resort / airport or return overland to Alice springs.
